Investigating a complete QuadII set of a customer, with preamp and tuner included. There are some components which need to be replaced. As you can see on the scope, one of the two smoothing capacitors is bad and needs to go. The original metal blocking capacitors have been taken out at some point in the past, but I’ve got really good NOS replacements for that. This set is going to be up for sale.
