McIntosh Labs audio amplifiers are known for it’s sublime quality. Although they’re famous for their tube amplifiers, their Solid State amplifiers are also state of the art, high quality equipment. A customer happened to buy a fairly old pre-amp and power amp in good shape.  He wasn’t shure if it was safe to fire them up because there was a 110V sign on the back, and connected were European power plugs. Since the devices got opened up I was allowed to do a full overhaul and make the devices work like a charm.

d to be converted to 230V, but several functions were not working anymore and the front lightning bulbs were almost everywhere burned out. These beauties are restored to their former glory and will be glorious for the next 30 years.
